Example Workflow

Example workflow: Reviewing your prices when your calendar is full

A step-by-step scenario for checking whether a busy schedule is also a well-priced one.

Start for $1

Thirty days for $1, then $139 a month with four team members included.

The situation

Assumed practice: Full-service facial and skin health practice

Say your calendar has been full for a year, but when you look at what you take home after rent, product, and insurance, it's less than you expected. Some of your most-booked services haven't been repriced in a long time, and you're not sure which ones carry their weight.

This example walks through a pricing review using the numbers SpaSphere already has.

The steps in SpaSphere

  1. See where revenue comes from

Open the Analytics Dashboard and go to the Breakdown tab for popular services and revenue by service, using the 90-day range. Click Ask Sophie break this down for you on any chart for a plain-language explanation.

  2. Pull the detail

In Reports, load the Revenue Summary for the same period to see services, products, and membership revenue by day. Export it as CSV if you want to add your own product cost and time per service in a spreadsheet.

  3. Compare with your local market

Use Market Pricing to see local price tiers for your service types by zip code, and whether each of your prices sits above, below, or at the market average.

  4. Update your menu

Edit the price and duration of each service you decide to change, and hide any service you want to stop offering online from your booking page.

  5. Package your corrective work

For a corrective facial clients need in a series, build a treatment plan with a bundle price so the full course is one decision for your client instead of several.

What to notice

  • A full calendar and a profitable one are different questions; look at revenue by service, not just bookings.
  • Local market data gives you a reference point before you change a price.
  • Your own product cost and time per service still matter; export the data and add them.
  • A treatment plan can package corrective work at a single bundle price.
