How to export your clients from Mangomint

Mangomint exports your client list as a CSV from the Clients app. The one thing to watch is filters — they carry into the export.

Before you start

What you’ll need

  • A Mangomint login with access to the Clients app
  • A desktop computer — the export isn't available in the mobile app
  • About five minutes

Step by step

Exporting from Mangomint

  1. 1

Open the Clients app on desktop

Sign in to Mangomint on a computer and open the Clients app. The export option isn't in the mobile app.

    Clients

  2. 2

    Clear your filters

Mangomint exports exactly what the filters are showing. If you have any active — last appointment, client tags, past services — clear them first, or you'll quietly export only part of your list.

This is the easiest thing to get wrong. Check the filter row before you download.

  3. 3

    Download the file

Select Options, then select Download to export as a CSV file.

    Clients → Options → Download

  4. 4

    Check the row count

Open the file and confirm the number of rows roughly matches the number of clients you expect. If it's short, a filter was still applied.

What comes with your export

Mangomint doesn’t publish a list of the columns in this export, so we won’t guess at it. Open the file once you’ve downloaded it and you’ll see exactly what you have.

What may not come across

  • Sales and transaction history — that's a separate export from the Sales page.

Saved payment cards

Saved payment cards never transfer through a client export — at any platform. Card details are held by payment processors under PCI rules, not in your client list. Clients add a card again on their first visit.

Who can run this export

Depends on your permissions. Mangomint notes that some roles don't have access to the Clients app, to all client details, or to the export itself. If you don't see the Download option, your role doesn't have it.

Before you upload

  • Confirm the row count matches your client list.
  • Check that each client has either an email or a phone number — rows with neither can't be imported.

Last step

Importing into SpaSphere

  1. 1

    Open the importer

In SpaSphere, go to Settings → Import & Export and choose to import clients.

  2. 2

    Upload your file

Select the file you exported. SpaSphere reads the column headers and matches them to the right fields automatically.

  3. 3

    Check the column matching

You'll see how each column was matched before anything is saved. Adjust any that look wrong, then confirm.

You don't need to rename columns before uploading. SpaSphere recognises the common variations — "Mobile Phone", "Cell", "Phone Number" all map to the same field — and shows you the matches before importing.

Where these steps come from

We checked Mangomint's own documentation on September 17, 2026. Platforms change their menus, so if something looks different, trust what's on your screen.
