How to export your clients from Boulevard
Boulevard exports your client contacts straight from the Clients tab. It's a contact list rather than a full client history — here's exactly what you get.
- How it works
- Built-in export
- File you’ll get
- CSV
- Last checked
- September 17, 2026
Before you start
What you’ll need
- A Boulevard login with the "Client list: View & export" permission
- About five minutes
Step by step
Exporting from Boulevard
- 1
Open the Clients tab
Sign in to Boulevard and go to Clients in the main navigation.
Clients
- 2
Clear any filters
If you've narrowed the list using Add Filter, clear it first so you export everyone rather than the current view.
- 3
Export the list
Click Export current list. A CSV downloads with your clients' names, mobile numbers and email addresses.
Clients → Export current list
Need more than names and contact details?
Boulevard documents a fuller "Client Records" export, but only through its Admin API rather than a button in the dashboard. If you need notes, forms or visit history, ask Boulevard support what they can provide before you close your account.
What comes with your export
- First name
- Last name
- Mobile number
- Email address
What may not come across
- Addresses, dates of birth and tags
- Client notes, forms and charts
- Visit and purchase history
- Marketing consent status
Saved payment cards
Saved payment cards never transfer through a client export — at any platform. Card details are held by payment processors under PCI rules, not in your client list. Clients add a card again on their first visit.
Who can run this export
A role with the "Client list: View & export" permission. That's a specific granular permission in Boulevard, separate from general report access — if you can't see the export button, ask whoever manages your permission groups to enable it.
Before you upload
- Check that each client has either an email or a phone number — rows with neither can't be imported.
Last step
Importing into SpaSphere
- 1
Open the importer
In SpaSphere, go to Settings → Import & Export and choose to import clients.
- 2
Upload your file
Select the file you exported. SpaSphere reads the column headers and matches them to the right fields automatically.
- 3
Check the column matching
You'll see how each column was matched before anything is saved. Adjust any that look wrong, then confirm.
You don't need to rename columns before uploading. SpaSphere recognises the common variations — "Mobile Phone", "Cell", "Phone Number" all map to the same field — and shows you the matches before importing.
Where these steps come from
We checked Boulevard's own documentation on September 17, 2026. Platforms change their menus, so if something looks different, trust what's on your screen.
